We also have some Yamaha MT07’s in the garage so we have a bike for everybody!! We take you on some of the best riding roads here in Australia and we feel we have the best bikes for you to really enjoy the twists and turns and scenery that you will encounter down under.
Day 1 Has us arriving in Sydney today or tonight. We will have a group meet and greet at 5pm at our hotel and have dinner together to get acquainted.
Day 2 we have a beautiful ride along the Northern Beaches of Sydney all the way to Palm Beach, stopping along the way at one of the gorgeous beaches for coffee and a snack. We head back to Sydney via McCarrs Creek Rd to Akuna Bay before making our way back to our hotel. This evening we have a walk booked across the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge. What better way to see this stunning harbour city than from the top of the Bridge! Dinner follows atop Sydney at Centrepoint Tower. The tallest restaurant in Sydney with an amazing all you can eat buffet.
Day 3 we start early and ride to Featherdale Wildlife Park for coffee and your up close experience with many of Australia’s unique wildlife. You can hand feed Kangaroos and Koalas and come face to face with a big salt water crocodile . Have your picture taken and even hold a Koala and be the envy of your friends back home. Next we head to the Blue Mountains to see the stunning Three Sisters and part of the Great Dividing Range. Lunch here before we head to Singleton via one of the iconic motorcycling roads in Australia, the Putty Rd.
Day 4 we ride through the stunning NSW winery regions on our way to the home of Australia’s country music , Tamworth. Passing through some beautiful countryside you will need to keep an eye out for wild Kangaroos and other Australian animals. Stopping along the way at one of the many great coffee stops before lunch at the famous Willow Tree Pub.
Day 5 is a rest in Tamworth where you can check out the
Big Golden Guitar and the Australian Country Music Hall of Fame. We can also do a ride today out to the little town of Nundle which is one of Australia’s earliest gold mining towns. On the way we ride past Chaffey Dam, a popular spot for waterskiing and fishing in the New England area.
Day 6 Another glorious riding day on another iconic Australian motorcycling road, the Oxley Highway. Cutting through some amazing country and mountainsides we make our way to Wauchope after a couple of stops for coffee , lunch and some pictures of some truly beautiful scenery. Make sure you have your camera or smart phone ready.
Day 7 Sees us start to reach the stunning Australian coast again as we head to Coffs Harbour, home of the Big Banana. We divert to the coast on the way as we pass through Port Macquarie and Sth West rocks where we can see the surf and stop for lunch on the beachfront. When we reach Coffs Harbour we are staying close to the beach so have your swimmers handy for an afternoon dip in the ocean.
Day 8 The great motorcycling roads just don’t stop. Today we cut back across through the beautifully serene Waterfall Way, where yes there are waterfalls!!! Plenty of great photo opportunities and places to stop along the way to our days destination which is the inland town of Armidale, birthplace of Australian legend Peter Allen.
Day 9 Today we cut back across the mountains and head to one of most famous places on the East Coast, Byron Bay. Once the home of hippies it has now become a very fashionable , and expensive, place to live. One of most famous Aussie actors, Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and his family are regulars on the beaches in the area as are many of his hollywood friends. We have a multitude of bars and restaurants and cafes in the area to cater for everyone’s taste. Plus the beaches here have some amazing surf with boards available to hire. We also take a visit to the most eastern point in Australia which is just around the corner.
Day 10 Rest day today in Byron Bay to do some star spotting, shopping, surfing , eating or relaxing at the beach. The choice is endless and yours to make.
Day 11 Heading up the Coast today we reach the world famous Gold Coast, the sunset strip of Australia. Theme parks, tourist attractions and long golden beaches are what people come here for. We will stop and have a look while we get a coffee and snack before heading to todays destination of Toowoomba via the twisty roads of Tambourine Mountain.
Day 12 A lot of Km’s are covered today as we pass through some of our famous outback country. Passing through many quaint little typical outback country towns we finally arrive at Narrabri, one of the major cotton growing regions in Australia. The town of Narrabri sits on the Namoi River and as a result of the geography of the area and its surrounds it was prone to flooding before changes were made to the river flow to improve the situation. A cute little town to rest in after our days riding.
Day 13 Staying in the outback we head to one of our famous and well known country towns, Dubbo, home of the Western Plains Zoo, the sister zoo to Sydney’s Taronga Zoo. On the way we pass through the Coolah and the funnily named Dunedoo, ( in Australian slang a toilet is known as a dunny)
Day 14 As the tour starts coming to an end, the sights and scenery still amazes us. Today we have a special ride as we pass through Bathurst, home to Australia’s most famous racetrack, Mt Panorama. Each year our biggest car race is held at Bathurst for the annual 1000km race , some 160+ laps of the track, and we get to do a couple of laps on our way through. Bike racing hasn’t been held at Bathurst for quite a few years now due to the dangerous concrete barriers, but that hasn’t stopped people wanting the bike racing to return to the famous track. So get your GoPro cameras ready to record your lap of this world famous racetrack.
Day 15 Our final day riding, heading from Lithgow in the base of the Blue Mountains and back into Sydney. On the way we ride along yet another iconic motorcycling road , The Bells line of Road, twists and turns through stunning bushland.
